Thanh Ha village is located along national highway No.1 in the Thanh Liem District of Ha Nam province, about 10km in the South of Phu Ly city. The craft village has two main hamlets specialized in embroidery industry. The 1st one is An Hoa hamlet and the 2nd one is Hoa Ngai hamlet. They has contributed to Vietnam’s economy due to their traditional embroidery industry. For more than a century, Thanh Ha craftmans have been recognized for their needles-related skilful works, and their lives have been deeply impacted with the art of embroidery. Currently, more than six thousand five hundred of the eight thousand inhabitants, are involved in producing world famous embroidery items for exportation.
